Resolved - The incident is now largely stabilized. The error rate remains low, and while latency has not changed over the past three hours and is still higher than our normal baseline, it is not creating a major impact and remains stable. Based on current traffic patterns, we do not expect conditions to worsen for the rest of the day.

The Cresta engineering team is prioritizing troubleshooting and actively engaged on a live bridge with AWS support engineers while monitoring is still ongoing. The investigation is now focused on deeper cloud‑networking and database‑storage behavior, and while we have not yet identified a definitive root cause, analysis is progressing. This work will inform our next steps for backfilling any missed data and an RCA will be documented once this is complete.

Monitoring - A fix has been applied to the affected database cluster. Early results are positive: error rates have dropped significantly and latency is trending down but it is still higher than normal. At this time, the issue appears to be largely mitigated, though it is not yet marked as fully resolved.

Engineering is continuing to closely monitor the environment to confirm stability over time. This incident remains a top operational priority until we can confidently declare full resolution.

If the current mitigation is confirmed as the definitive fix, we will collaborate with AWS to complete a formal root cause analysis (RCA) and will share key findings and preventive actions.

There may be gaps in transcriptions and summarizations from the affected time window. Once stability is confirmed, we will work to backfill impacted data where possible and verify that downstream systems are consistent.

Investigating - We are investigating an ongoing connectivity issue between Cresta services and AWS in the us-west-2 region.

Multiple customers in this region may see intermittent impact to AI assistance features and gaps or delays in call transcripts, while underlying call connectivity with their CCaaS provider generally remains available.

Our engineering team is treating this as the highest operational priority and has applied several mitigations that are reducing error rates, but the incident is not yet fully resolved.

We are working closely with AWS support to restore full stability and will continue to post updates on this page as we make further progress.
